Help to comfort

Help to comfort those around you
As you go through your daily life
Don't worry about stressful things
Because it will bring you strife

Your life depends on your belief
And the outcome is down to you
Keep believing in the spirit world
And your thoughts may then come true

Be helpful to those close to you
And work to smile and laugh
Because your laughter is another gift
And this will help things past

The sprit world will work with you
To help others who still grieve
They put thoughts to you everyday
So they won't just go and leave

Message from a Son

Don't feel sad for me my mam,
Because I left you so,
Because it wasn't meant to be,
But it was my time to go.

Don't cry for I am with you,
I am around you day by day,
Because I love you o so much,
In that very special way.

You laugh but you're unhappy,
You smile but you are sad,
But i am always with you,
Remember the good times we had.

Whilst attending a night of mediumship with Nataly Churchill
at the New Harp Pub , Mountain Ash

To give that smiling glow

We sit down in comfort
Knowing they are there
Surrounding us with their love
Because they really care

We feel them coming close
With a shiver on your skin
Because the love will be eternal
And we feel it deep within

They know we shed a tear
Because we miss them so
But they come around in spirit
To give that smiling glow

To feel the love

Deep down we need to feel the love
To help to deal with your loss
It is not all about power
Nor to show who is the boss

A medium will help you
Deal with grief you have inside
To give you help and assurance
To help you cope with this divide

A message is so vital now to you
Because the loss you feel is deep
But spirit don't want you to feel sad
Or these feelings for you to keep

Release the feelings you need to
And let spirit help you feel calm
So sadness will be brushed aside
And you can again walk arm in arm

What we love about the welsh valleys

The trees that line the hillsides,
Follow the contours of the land,
From the giant Breacon Beacon peaks,
To the Porthcawl seaside sands.

Some hillsides are manmade thou,
Left over coal put into mounds,
But nature has taken over now,
Since mining has stopped underground.

Some fields are used for food crops,
When others just for grazing,
And what we love about the welsh valleys most,
The sights are always amazing.

 Old railway buildings

The buildings stand so prominent
From the railway times of old
So many renovated
From no use they have been sold.

Old workings have been ripped out
To rid the buildings of the past
For the buildings walls are solid
With thick stone made to last.

They refurbish all the windows
In a way they still deserve
They block the bottom of some doorways
But the tops are kept for curves.

 Humans and Daffodils

The human body
Is like a daffodil
It needs love
And a lot of will.
The stem itself
Is like the vein
Takes all the goodness
From the ground and rain.
The trumpet stands
So bold and proud
Like human beings
Within a crowd.
The growth depends
With strength within
Like a daffodil
And the soil it's in.
The colour not seen
Until the spring
Like a matured body
With love within.

 Taken away

They say lives are taken away
Earlier than they should
There is nothing we can do to help them
Even if we really could.

It was gods decision to take them
Because they had a gift they could provide
So they could help those souls in need
When they arrive at the other side.

We mourn a loss in this life with tears
But we should celebrate the life they had
Because they would want us to be happy
Than grieve and being sad.

 Cass Lomas was a railwayman

Cass Lomas was a railwayman,
With an extraordinary past,
Although he only had short legs,
He went around that Queen Street fast.
He's a legend in his lifetime,
Down in the valleys here in Wales
He kept us entertained for hours,
Telling us all his little tales.
Old Cass he loved his horses,
And always made a bet,
He's a legend in his lifetime,
And one we won't forget.
So today Queen Street's a sorry place,
For our old friend Cass has passed,
But he's a legend in his lifetime,
And his memories will last.
It's sad to think we've lost another,
Top of the BR class,
So farewell our old colleague,
Rest in Peace our friend Cass.

In sad times we come together

In sad times we come together
In good times we draw apart
It's because we feel for those in need
From the bottom of our heart

We feel the pain and sorrow
As we think of those who grieve
We wear that special angelic badge
On the shoulder of our sleeve

We help those who have lost loved ones
Grandparents, Mam or Dad
Because we know how we felt
And we also feel so sad

In sad times we come together
To give those in need some hope
To get through today and tomorrow
And in their daily life to cope

It’s nice to feel the comfort

It’s nice to feel the comfort

And to know we’re not alone

When we do our daily chores

Or we are just sat at home

It’s nice to feel the comfort

Of that loved one late at night

When you feel the calm sensation

Although they are out of sight

It’s nice to feel the comfort

When you sit in their chair

And to acknowledge that you love them

And know they are still there

It’s nice to feel the comfort

To know their spirit still lives on

And to show that love connection

Although they have now gone

I wish I could turn back time again

I wish I could turn back time again

And to live just one more day

To give you lots of cwtch’s

And say the things I need to say

I wish I could turn back time again

To look what we both had

A loving wife and home

And the kids who called me dad

I wish I could turn back time again

And return to you tomorrow

But life’s too short for holding on

To the pain and all the sorrow

I wish I could turn back time again

To the family I will miss

And to hold you in my arms once more

And to give you one last kiss

We are going to Treherbert

We are going to Treherbert
Up on the railway track
We need to get some tokens out
To go up the single line and back

We go from Porth to Ystrad
With a token made of brass
Then it's changed for another one
For Treherbert, green as grass

It's busy with commuters
And the kids for all the schools
Take the locals to the small town shops
And the kids down to the pool

We are going to Treherbert
Up through the valleys bends
To a small old railway depot
Where the railway line now ends

Winter to spring

As daylight turns to darkness
And clouds turn into rain
As winter turns to spring
The wild flowers bud again

The atmospheric changes
Means so much to us both
To humans it's a season change
And a plant it means re-growth

You know when spring is coming
The daffodil stems start to grow
And the weather starts to warm up
And the yellow trumpets start to show

 When the angels

When the angels open up their wings
As they look down from above
We feel a glow of happiness
As they smother us with love

In times of our losses
When we are feeling low and sad
We thank them for the comfort
And good feeling which we had

We feel a tingle running over us
From your head down to your toes
And you smile for no good reason
Because the angels love will flow

When the angels open up their wings
You will know that they are there
In your dream state you will see them
And they come because they care

Situations

When a situation arises
You deal with it as you can
But often it doesn't go right
The way you had to plan

A plan may need slight changes
As a problem may occur
Remember what the plan was
Just try not to defer

Every situation will be different
And one day you'll make a mistake
But remember from this lesson
The different path you'll need to take

Rain clouds

When the rain clouds gather
And they form in all shades of grey
We know the weather will change
And it will rain today

As the droplets of water
Hit the window pane
And the clouds start to open up
Here comes the rain again

The rain is really heavy
And the wiper blade is under strain
Because it is continuous
And it starts to be a pain

As it starts to clear
And the rain then becomes light
We start to see the sun shine through
As the dark clouds move out of sight

An early May morning

The sound of young birds singing
As they have an early morning play
The sky is nice and clear
They will be happy all today

The early morning dew is rising
The fields covered in low fog
The silence only broken
By a man walking his dog

The dew glistens like crystals
Where there once was a light fog
It's a natural attraction
And a clear act of god

This week should be a special time

This week should be a special time
For us all to celebrate
Instead we think of the memories
On an anniversary date

We love you more than ever
But again today we are sad
Because we miss the love and charm
From a very special dad

So much has changed
Since you have past
Except our memories of you
Which will always last

We know you will be with us dad
On your wedding anniversary day
And we'll send our love and wishes
On this very special day

We know that Mam still misses you
Although many years have gone
But we will comfort her with our love
As her life carries on

Kindness

Kindness in all of us
From the day life begins
It isn't down to love
And it's definitely not a sin

Many nations are saved
From kindness from others
A kindness which is borne
Within sisters and brothers

A love within a family
Is different to kind words
Like the beauty after watching
The animals and birds

Kindness is not charged
In monetary value
Kindness is in all of us
The same in me as you

Kindness comes in many forms
Not words but sometimes smiles
They are kindness in them selves
Which will go many miles

The heartfelt joys of kindness
Are help on their own
It works as a ground level
Of friendship which can be grown

Kindness is a shoulder
Just for us to lean upon
Especially from those above
And a message from spirits gone

The flickering of the sunbeams

The flickering of the sunbeams
Shines through the line side trees
The cool air through the window
Giving the lightest breeze

There is fog and mist upon the ground
Which blanks out all the views
From evaporating rainfall
And the early morning dew

The fog and mist is intermittent
As you're travelling along
After about a minute
It all seems to have gone

The winter sun is glowing now
The distant view is all a haze
But to us it just seems normal
Another one of those working days

Darkness - Deemed to be the best

In darkness you see the flicker
From a distant street light
Through the trees you see outlines
Of the streets still out of sight

The silhouette of distant trees
Standing alone upon the top
Illuminated by the lighter sky
Where the mountain ridges stop

The darkness of the trees in front
Made from different shades
Until they become clearer
Where light contact is made

The darkness hides many things
It's where some animals are at rest
The place of quiet and solitude
And is deemed to be the best

Think specially of those lost this year

As this year draws to a close
The next will soon be started
And your thoughts become bolder
Of those loved ones who have parted

Remember all the fun times
In those years left behind and gone
Stored in our memory bank
To help us get along

Think specially of those lost this year
Brothers, sisters , mams and dads
Because we've not come to terms yet

Which makes us feel really sad

Be sure their spirit is with you
As this year comes to an end
And they will be waiting
For the thoughts of love which you will send

Don't be unhappy this New Years Eve
Remember the good times you both had
Because they want you to smile and enjoy
Rather than you being sad

Winters frost

White frost covering the winter floor
Like icing on a cake
O' what lovely picture cards
These scenes would all now make

On the ground there's ice and frost
With the morning air so cold
The idyllic country side smothered
Looking like times of Olde

The winter sun is glowing
All picturesque and nice
As the ground shimmers like diamonds
When the rays reflect off frost and ice

Although we dread the winter weather
The scenes are really nice
But beneath that thin layer of frost
Could be hiding some nasty ice

Write a little note

Sometimes we need to write some words
A poem or a quote
We cannot think what to say
So we write a little note

Although a note is useful
You may not know where to start
So close your eyes and clear your mind
And write deep from the heart

The words you write will mean so much
Because they are meant with pure love
And if you ask for spirits help
They will send thoughts from above

So if you find it difficult to write some words
Write what you feel when you're apart
Write with love and devotion
That is embedded in your heart

If you have a belief you can use it

If you have a belief you can use it
When life has backed you against the wall
It can also become very helpful
When you think it's your last call

A belief in religion is useful
And can help with what life send
It can also help you through hardship
When a loved one's life journey ends

So what your belief is doesn't matter
As long as you have one in tow
So when a time comes that you need it
You will know exactly where to go

Spread the word

So lord you want me to spread the word
To help their daily plight
And for this you give me help daily
With a special gift you think is right

Through clairvoyance you help me see images
With the gift of spirits sight
Through clairaudience you let me hear
So the spirits words I write

Through Clairsentience you help me feel
So I can give the message right
But best of all I see spirit forms
Whilst using my psychic sight

So at this time I thank you lord
For giving me this special gift
On behalf of all those thousands
Whose lives I can now uplift

Slower Learning

Slow down don't be so hasty
To learn new things so fast
Take time and go much slower
So the interest will last

Be pleasantly surprised
With the things that you can do
Be patient and start to read
So you will have a clue

The gifts you have are different
From those around you every day
So speak and learn from others
To help work in similar ways

So patience is a virtue
You don't need to win a race
Slow down and take things easy
At a better learning pace

Tear in my eye

O ‘Lord I am not happy
Again I am feeling sad
Because six years ago this week
You took away my dad.

I try to be very brave this month
But April is very hard
Because I have to send my love
By writing in a card

The family will shed a tear
On the anniversary day
Because we remember our dad
And the man you took away.

We smile when we think of memories
And the hearts that you just broke
Because we loved him dearly lord
And he was not just a bloke.

That man you took was my dad lord
To this day I don't know why
But on the 13th of April lord
I will get a tear in my eye.

Love and miss you lots Dad.

Our Friend Mark

This week we've lost a railwayman
And we can't believe he's gone
He left a lasting impression
So his spirit will live on.

Many times he'd give a wink
Complain and have a shout
But to those who worked with Mark
We knew he'd lark about.

He did his job with passion
And was a lovely bloke
He liked to have a laugh on times
And would often tell a joke

We say farewell to our friend Mark
A colleague and true mate
And we know you'll need your ticket now
To get through those Pearly Gates

Early Morning

When you wake up in the morning
Hear birds whistling their sounds
The mists already risen
And the damp dews on the ground.

The trickle of the water
Running from the mountain stream
And you close your eyes and wonder
Is this just a dream?

When you wake up in the morning
The summer sun is shining bright
Pray to god the day stays fine again
Until the day light turns to night.

True friends

True friends are like gold nuggets
Precious and sometimes rare
One in a million
But who show they really care.

True friends stand by you when needed
Give advice when they cannot
But friendship is one thing
Which cannot be forgot.

True friends have strong opinions
True friends may well have fought
But one thing is for certain
True friendship cannot be bought.

So next time you are talking
To that special true friend
Say thank you for being there
Because they'll be there to the end.

To regain that smiling glow

In life there are many downfalls
Or tests as they are known
This is part of your learning
And to prove you've grown

The spirit world can guide you
Through thoughts you will be shown
But decisions can only be made
By you alone!

Don't be frightened to ask for help
When you feel you cannot cope
Because a few words from another
May give you that needed hope

So when you're feeling troubled
Deep down you're feeling low
Ask others for the help you need
To regain that smiling glow

New roads

The landscape is now changing
Because new roads are being done
They bypass all the villages
Less congestion for everyone

They go along old railway tracks
And put cuttings either side
Sometimes they will remove fields
Because the roads are needed wide

They may need to remove the dirt
But keep quarry stone for walls
And the gulley they will also need
For the water when rain falls

When the roads are finished
And work is coming to the end
Trees and grass are planted
So it will shortly start to blend

Beautiful valleys

The welsh valleys are so beautiful
Many different shades of green
For many miles on mountain tops
The fir trees can be seen

The birch trees in the summer
The grass to feed the sheep
The stingy nettles and the ferns
In the ridges which are deep

The welsh valleys are so beautiful
But all is not what it seems at all
Some mountains as regenerated
Old tips of yesteryears coal

You need to see the scenery
To see the beauty here in Wales
Beauty is not just in the Beacons
It's in the valleys and the vales

Night sight and vision

Many things become visible
As darkness turns to light
Because we don't have the vision
Of the nocturnal sight

Many creatures forage
In the undergrowth at night
Because they are safe from humans
As we do not have the nocturnal sight

They fend for their survival
Within the forests which are dense
Because our night vision is not that good
But their instincts are immense

So for us to see these creatures
In the darkness of the night
We need night sights or goggles
To replicate the animals own sight.

Engulf your life

Engulf your life with passion

Engulf your life with love

Engulf your soul with inspiration

From spirits up above

Engulf your body with relaxation

Until your mind’s in solitude

Engulf the feelings all around you

Until you feel it can be pursued

Happiness

Happiness is measured
In so many ways
It could be the way you smile
Or a very loving gaze

Happiness can mean so much
To someone very near
But because they are emotional
They may shed a tear

Happiness is needed
By everybody that's for sure
Because a smile and a little laughter
May be the only cure

Happiness is something
That is worth its weight in gold
Say hello with a meaningful smile
Whether you are young or old

When your heart is broken

When your heart is broken
And you feel it's snapped in two
When reality starts sinking in
But you can't believe it's true

When your mind is thinking many things
And you are feeling stressed
Deal with the issues carefully
Before you get depressed

Because your heart is broken
Things are said you don't mean to say
And the words will come back
To haunt you another day

So before you open up your mouth
Think what needs to be said
Because although your heart is broken
It don't mean that it is bled

God Bless

We say god bless to those who've passed
To the place called the great unknown
For much sorrow and pain has been shed
Which relatives and friends have shown

We say god bless to those who've left
With no warning to say goodbye
For loved ones just have memories left
And all they can do is cry

We say god bless to those with illnesses
Who prayed for their last breath
For they no longer have to suffer
After their untimely death

We say god bless to those who are alone
Who have no relatives to care
We give our love to help you through
And show there's always someone there

 Condemned man

Like a condemned man
You fail to see
Through what is wrong
Into reality

Your mind is focussed
On what you want to know
Instead of allowing it to wander
Where it needs to go

Like a condemned man
You won't allow your sight
Because you focus on
Your one and only plight

Connect your mind
With your body and soul
And you will find one day
You can reach that goal

Heartache

You don't know the heartache
And the pain we are going through
To lose a family loved one
For this is o' so true

The medical profession
Who we all depend
Done all within their power
But a lost life in the end

The family need comfort now
And we all will need to pray
To help them through tomorrow
Because of this sad event today

Message from a loving sister

If you lose a loving sister
Or another for that matter
You will lose that loving bond
And a bit of chitter chatter

As we are growing older now
We don't communicate as such
But the bond we have as family
Will always mean so much

If one passes over
You will now think it's too late
But I hear what you are saying
And I'll visit in your dream state

So please don't feel unhappy
And feel annoyed by what you say
Because the memories are deep within
And we'll meet again one day

Remember when

Remember when we were little kids
And we would walk for miles
We had no care in the world
And we were always full of smiles

For us they are good memories
To look back on when we are sad
For this was an enjoyable time
And looking back I'm really glad

So when you're feeling a little down
Go back to those great thoughts
Think of those silly things you did
And the happy times they brought

Be prepared to tell a loved one

Be prepared to tell a loved one
That you really care
Even if you've argued
Tell them you're still there

One day you will be sorry
When one of you are gone
Because the guilt will hurt deep within
And you won't be able to move on

So while you're both on this earth
Give friends and family a ring
Because it only takes the word "Sorry"
For old friendships to begin

From this day you can look forward
And don't dwell upon the past
As the tears of joy runs down your face
For a friendship that will last

In times of hardship and sorrow

In times of hardship and sorrow
To a loved one we will call
Although they are in spirit
It helps you to stand tall

You may ask them for some comfort
You may ask them for their love
And I assure you they will send back
Your requests from up above

The joy and feeling you receive
From this little task
Will take away that unhappy feeling
Which is all that you can ask

So when you are feeling down
Hurt and all depressed
Ask spirit for their loving help
And hopefully you will be blessed

Autumn colours

The autumn colours are on the trees
Greens, yellows, orange and brown
The acorns and the horse chestnuts
Will be falling to the ground

Staying there for many months
Starting to decompose
Ready for the spring time to come
So the seed inside regrows

On the trees leaves will all discolour
Then fall off, which looks so mean
But in the spring they will rejuvenate
All nice and new and green

Don't be sad when autumn comes
It is nature's way of giving birth
When the leaves and seeds fall to the ground
It is giving nutrients to the earth

Prospective land

They are building modern housing
In green fields far and wide
Before long there will be nowhere
For the animals to go and hide

The foxes are an example
Of the changes to survive
Many are now urban
Opening bin bags to stay alive

The badgers under conservation
Stringent rules which must be met
To move them from prospective land
To an alternative badgers set

Because of barn conversions
Many animals have lost out
Like the low number of barn owls now
Close to extinction without a doubt

We know the houses are needed
And people do understand
But greater care needs to be taken
When they chose a plot of land

Loss of a Babe child

There is a loss so hurtful
Which turn many parents wild
And that of what we talk about
Is of a small babe child

Sometimes they have a problem
And their bodies cannot cope
And the medical profession
Leave it to Love and Hope

A child is very precious
To the family and friends
And the hurt and sorrow ripples out
When another small life ends

The agony to parents
For their greatest loss of all
Is that of a babe child
Answering gods call
